Got questions?
We have answers!
Your donation will help send nutritious food to more than 1,200 hunger-relief organizations across the province, on an equitable basis, throughout the year. Your generosity also provides food banks with resources and training to build capacity and better serve their communities, and supports Ontario's food bank network to develop lasting solutions to hunger in partnership with government, industry, and local communities.
For every $1 you donate, 95 cents goes directly to programs and services, and 5 cents helps Feed Ontario ensure our efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability through fundraising and administration.
Your donation is 100% secure. We use industry-standard software to encrypt and process all your donation information. We do not share your data with any third parties.
Yes! One-time donations made online will receive an automatic email with your e-receipt at the email address you provide. All monthly donations in a calendar year will be collated into one receipt and mailed to you in February of the following year. Donations received via mail will be receipted at the start of the following month and posted to the address provided.
If you have not received your receipt, or if there is an error, please contact us at donate@feedontario.ca or (416) 656-4100.
Feed Ontario supports food banks across the province on an equitable basis. Our SNAP program uses smart algorithms to allocate food based on the number of people served, food bank capacity, and recent food deliveries.
To donate to a specific community, please contact your local food bank directly using our Find-a-Food Bank tool.
Individuals looking to donate food can give to their local food bank. Use our Find-a-Food Bank function to find your local food bank.
Organizations looking to donate five or more pallets of food or supplies can learn more about donating food here.
If you have less than five pallets of food, please contact your local food bank using our Find-a-Food Bank tool.
There are lots of ways to partner with Feed Ontario. See our Partner With Us page to learn more and get in touch. You can also visit our Campaign page to see our ongoing and past partnerships.
For every one dollar donated, Feed Ontario can provide the equivalent of three meals. As a province-wide organization Feed Ontario is able to use economies of scale and bulk purchasing to secure lower rates on our food costs. We further supplement this through the strong partnerships we have developed with Ontario's food and transportation sectors, which provide us with discounted, at-cost, and donated services and food.
