Cela indique clairement que ces programmes de soutien ne fournissent pas un revenu suffisant pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins les plus \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires des b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires. Un projet de loi d'initiative parlementaire (projet de loi 60), pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate Paul Miller et soutenu par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 progressiste-conservateur Bob Bailey, vise \u00e0 changer cette situation en cr\u00e9ant une commission de recherche sur l'aide sociale non partisane charg\u00e9e de recommander des taux fond\u00e9s sur des donn\u00e9es probantes. Il est donc difficile pour les adultes vivant de l'aide sociale d'\u00e9tablir une base qui leur permettra de briser le cycle de la pauvret\u00e9.
