Dominique Wildeboer is a volunteer with the Burlington Food Bank.
Dominique steps in wherever she is needed, and especially during COVID-19, she helped organize and manage things in the warehouse area, which was crucial as we had gone to a contactless delivery model.
She is an incredible asset to the Food Bank — not just as a volunteer when she is in the building, but as an advocate everywhere she goes for the vital work that we do here.
After Dominique retired from teaching, she wanted to help out and be active. She had experience in the food industry and decided the food bank would be a great way to leverage her experience and allow her to help the community.
