Ontario Egg Program

Since 2015, the Ontario Egg Program has ensured Ontario's food banks remain stocked with fresh, Ontario eggs to support adults, children, and families in need. In partnership with the Egg Farmers of Ontario, Burnbrae Farms, and Grayridge Egg Farms, this program delivers over 1 million eggs to local and community food banks each year.

About the program

Eggs are rich in protein and packed with vitamins and minerals. Thanks to the Egg Farmers of Ontario, the Ontario Egg Program was created to ensure healthy eggs are delivered to local and community food banks to support people in need.

Launched in 2015, this program makes it easy for egg farmers and supporters to donate eggs to food banks across the province. Each year, the Egg Farmers of Ontario donate over 100,000 dozen eggs to support Ontario's food banks.

Since the program's inception, 14.5 million eggs have been donated to support families in need across Ontario!

"Ontario’s egg farmers have a strong record of donating to food banks. We want to give more through a program that makes it easy for egg farmers and all supporters to donate fresh, high-quality Ontario eggs to food banks across the province."
