We're asking food bank visitors to tell their stories...
Throughout September, food bank visitors will fill out postcards with their stories of how the struggle to afford their basic needs is affecting their lives. We'll be sharing these stories with our representatives at Queen's Park and with Ontarians.

Sign our petition to the Government of Ontario to demand that they take bold action on poverty, including:
1. Improving social assistance
2. Investing in affordable housing
3. Building a stronger workforce
Too many Ontarians are struggling to make ends meet
increase in people accessing a food bank in Ontario last year: the biggest single-year increase on record and twice the jump seen after the 2008 recession
of food bank visitors in Ontario rely on Ontario Works or ODSP as their primary source of income, and are kept in legislated poverty
of food bank visitors have housing costs that exceed their monthly incomes
