Addressing the root causes of poverty
At Feed Ontario, we know hunger doesn’t exist in isolation—it’s deeply connected to housing, income, and other systems that shape daily life. That’s why we take a whole-systems approach to ending food insecurity, working hard to tackle the interconnected issues that keep people in poverty.
We make data on food insecurity accessible to everyone, conduct research that highlights the realities Ontarians face, and develop informed policy recommendations that target the root causes of poverty. By advocating for change with policymakers and building capacity within communities and the food bank network, we’re working toward a stronger, more resilient, and hunger-free Ontario.
Join us to help build a hunger-free Ontario
When our neighbours can’t afford enough to eat, it doesn’t just affect their household – it weakens the fabric of our communities and our province.
Sign our petition to tell the provincial government: it’s time to take real action to reduce hunger and poverty. By adding your name, you’re joining Feed Ontario in calling for a future where no one goes hungry and every Ontarian has the opportunity to thrive.
