Toronto, ON – Farm Boy raised over $400,000 for Feed Ontario, through its annual Holiday Food Drive Campaign, providing essential support to food banks that are working to meet record-high demand across Ontario.

The funds raised through this campaign will support three of Feed Ontario’s core programs, including FeedON, Feed Possibility, and Full Shelves. Together, these programs help food banks keep their shelves stocked with essential and fresh food items, as well as strengthen their capacity to meet the growing need in their communities.

“We are incredibly grateful to Farm Boy, its employees, and its customers for their generosity and commitment to this campaign,” said Carolyn Stewart, CEO, Feed Ontario. “The incredible results are an example of what can be achieved when neighbours work together. This support will help food banks across the province keep their shelves full and strengthen their ability to serve people and families facing hunger this year.”

The success of Farm Boy’s campaign was made possible by the extraordinary dedication of their employees. Across all stores, cashiers and team members were fully engaged in the campaign and passionately shared the mission of Feed Ontario while encouraging customer participation.

“Our partnership with Feed Ontario is rooted in a shared belief that good neighbours take care of one another,” said Shawn Linton President and General Manager, Farm Boy Company Inc. “Thanks to the generosity of our customers and the passion of our team members, this campaign will help food banks across the province keep their shelves stocked and continue supporting families in their own neighbourhoods. We’re honoured to play a small part in helping make that possible.”

This marks the third consecutive year Farm Boy has supported Feed Ontario through its Holiday Food Drive Campaign, illustrating its commitment to being a good neighbour.
