Donating securities is an impactful way to support Feed Ontario's vision of an Ontario where everyone is food secure. Securities such as stocks, mutual funds, and shares can be gifted anytime or included in your estate. Through this donation, you are entitled to receive a charitable tax receipt for the full market value, reducing taxes for the year of donation or up to five years. Choosing to donate securities also eliminates any capital gains tax that would have to be paid if the securities were sold with the intention to donate the proceeds
