Ontario Milk Program

As Feed Ontario's longest running program, the Ontario Milk Program has been an essential component of our work for over 25 years. In partnership with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, Ontario Dairy Council, and Ontario Milk Transport Association, this program delivers over 1.2 million litres of milk to people in need each year.

About the program

From calcium for healthy bones to other essential nutrients, fresh milk contributes to a balanced diet and is an essential item for local food banks.

Thanks to a partnership with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, Ontario Dairy Council, and Ontario Milk Transport Association, the Ontario Milk Program produces, processes, and delivers fresh milk every month to food banks across Ontario. This program would not be possible without the generous support of over 500 dairy farmers and 11 dairy processors.

“We’re proud of our long association with Feed Ontario. It’s important to ensure everyone has access to high-quality, nutritious dairy products, and this program goes to show Ontario dairy farmers recognize how fortunate they are to be able to give back to their communities.”
