The Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB) is excited to announce a new partnership with Lone Star Texas Grill Link opens a new window, an Ontario chain of restaurant that serves authentic Texas food with a commitment to treating every guest like family.
Lone Star Texas Grill has set a goal of donating the equivalent of 150,000 meals to the OAFB by the end of 2017 through the Chips for Change promotion.
All net proceeds from each sale of tortilla chips and salsa will be directed towards the OAFB’ FeedON network Link opens a new window, which ensures that food banks all across the province receive food resources to support their food banks and communities.
For every $1 donated, the OAFB can provide the equivalent of 3 meals to someone in need.
