Since joining The Food Bank of Waterloo Region about two years ago, Amanda Stanzel has quickly become a familiar face around our facilities and community events. Although she most often volunteers with food sorting support, she can also be seen at events and hanging out with Phil the Food Drive bag!
My family and I decided we needed to put more good in the world to combat the bad.
Amanda on why she started volunteering
She’s always enjoyed helping people and loves that through her volunteering she is able to do something that helps the entire community. When Amanda is not busy working or volunteering, she can be found training for her upcoming half marathon, and spending time with her family and friends!
